A truck and a car have collided on South Western Highway in Waterloo in what appears to be a similar crash to one earlier this week.

Paramedics, police and firefighters were called to the crash, which occurred near Hynes Road about 9.30am today.

Police say there is a vehicle blocking traffic in the area but no one has been seriously injured in the crash.

The incident is similar to a separate crash between a car and truck on the same highway on Tuesday afternoon when the two vehicles collided at the Waterloo Road intersection.

Emergency services responded to that crash about 4.20pm, but again no one was seriously injured.
