Car rollover causes traffic delays

A man has been flown to Royal Perth Hospital after the car he was driving rolled over on Old Coast Road, near Laura Avenue in Australind this afternoon.

The two passengers in the car were checked by St John Ambulances paramedics, but were released upon their request.

The driver is conscious and talking to paramedics, but will be taken to Perth for precautionary measures.

Police are yet to determine the cause of the crash.

“Being a single vehicle roll-over on a straight stretch of road, there will be reasons behind it,” said Australind police Sgt Chris Clelland.
