Cinema gaming machines targeted

Gaming machines at Grand Cinemas Bunbury have been targeted in a crime spree which has prompted calls from police.

Bunbury police have called on information in relation to a string of offences targeting the machines between December 30, 2017 and January 28 this year.

Police say a man forcibly removed the padlocks from gaming machines and gained access to money containers at three separate cinemas between Perth and Bunbury.

Grand Cinemas Warwick and United Cinemas in Rockingham were also targeted.

The man is described as between 175 and 185cm tall with a solid build and fair skin.

Police say the man was wearing sports shorts, a t-shirt, baseball cap, sneakers and a black back pack.
