Cleanaway puts Dardanup landfill development applications on hold

Cleanaway has put on hold its three development applications which were due to be assessed by Dardanup shire councillors this month.

The request to have the applications put on hold comes after the Dardanup community made its opposition to the application clear at a March 20 special electors meeting.

A special council meeting was set to be held on April 16 to address the company’s three applications to extend its services at the Banksia Road landfill site as well as seven motions put forward by residents on March 20.
