Collie Chamber of Commerce & Industry calls for nominations for 2024 South32 Collie Business Awards

Collie residents are being asked to put forward the name of businesses doing a great job within the town. Nominations have opened for the 2024 South32 Collie Business Awards, recognising outstanding achievements, resilience and innovation. Awards are on offer for those ranging from sole traders to those with more than 21 employees, alongside a start-up business and Aboriginal business award. An interactive workshop will be held for nominees at the Collie Chamber of Commerce & Industry on February 7, which will be hosted by awards judge Robyn Morris. Business attendees will be provided tips on navigating the nomination process and gain insights on the award judging, alongside providing networking opportunities. A second workshop will be held on February 28, with both events starting at 1pm. This year’s applications close on March 18 before finalists are revealed on April 24. Winners of the awards will be announced at a gala presentation night at the Collie Miners Institute Hall on May 18. The Collie Business Awards started in 2021, with the inaugural event recognising the achievements and resilience of business owners in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic.
