Collie Gallery hosts “Beyond Boundaries”

South Western Times

The work of two South West artists will be celebrated at the exhibition Beyond Boundaries set to open at the Collie Art Gallery on Saturday at 2pm.

Diana Symes has a fascination with textiles, turning natural and manufactured fibre and found materials – including plants, leaves, dried skeletal insects, silk and wrapping paper – into spectacular creations.

She collaborates with Bob Turner, who works with old found tools and machinery to produce interesting sculptures and wall art.

Beyond Boundaries will be on show from 10am to 4pm daily, Thursday to Monday, until June 17.
