Commonwealth Queen’s Baton carriers’ names announced
Former Bunbury MLA John Castrilli and City of Bunbury Surf Life Saving Club president Denise Duncan are two of 19 people from the Greater Bunbury area chosen be to baton bearers ahead of the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games.
The Queen’s Baton will travel around the State on the 100-day countdown to the Games’ opening ceremony.
The baton will arrive in WA on February 22 and will spend six days travelling through 19 communities, starting in Albany and finishing in Karratha.
