The West Australian Regional Newspapers Group is giving one lucky reader the chance to win the ultimate Melbourne Cup experience.

The lucky winner of this month’s competition as seen in the Bunbury Herald and South Western Times, will get a trip for two to the race that stops a nation.

The prize is valued at $5000 and includes return flights from Perth to Melbourne, three nights accommodation and entry with a food and drinks package for two people to the Cup on November 6.

To be in with a chance, readers need to buy something in one of the participating businesses and place their receipt with contact details in the entry box in store.

Each of the newspaper group’s branches – including Bunbury’s Herald and Times – will draw a finalist and one winner will be drawn on October 26.

Check out page 39 of this week’s Herald (Tuesday) and pages 20 and 25 in Thursday’s Times for participating businesses.

The is just the latest competition offered by the WA Regional Newspapers Group with last month’s AFL grand final competition proving extremely popular.
