Eagles fans from across the South West will finally get their chance to see and even touch the 2018 Premiership Cup when it soars into Bunbury early next week.

The cup will be escorted around Bunbury by former player Drew Petrie, with the cup to make an appearance at ECU South West on Monday before being shown at Bunbury Toyota and Centrepoint Shopping Centre on Tuesday.

Bunbury Toyota new vehicles salesman Anthony Freeman said Tuesday’s visit would be a great opportunity for South West fans to see the cup in person, with this being the first time it has come to Bunbury.

“It should be a good opportunity for people young and old to come down and get photos,” he said.

One group that vowed to attend the events was the South West Supporter’s Club, with members already itching to don their favourite merchandise and catch a glimpse of the treasured cup.

“I have been waiting for the cup to come to Bunbury... at last we’re getting it!” club secretary Kaye Wallace said.

Mr Petrie and the cup will be at ECU South West between 11.30am and 12.30pm on Monday, Bunbury Toyota on Tuesday between 12pm and 1pm and Centrepoint Shopping Centre between 3pm and 4pm.
