Dardanup Shire Council is “pulling out all stops” and using cutting-edge equipment to ensure Glen Huon Reserve’s surface is in optimum condition for the first 2018 South West Football League game on April 15.

The council has used special equipment to further enhance drainage, increase airflow below the surface and promote turf health.

Chief executive officer Mark Chester said he was hopeful the upgrade would provide a significant improvement to turf quality and playing conditions during the upcoming SWFL season.

“Shire staff will continue to monitor the ground conditions over coming months and the performance of this interim measure in addressing the problem”, Mr Chester said.
