Entries open for SWAS run

Entries for the fifth annual South West Academy of Sport Telstra Fun Run opened this week, with the first 100 entrants to receive a complementary t-shirt.

Participants can choose from four events across three distances – a 10km, 5km or 2km run or a 5km walk, with the event to be held on March 16 around the Leschenault Inlet.

Local race walking champion and 2018 Myles Junior Sport Star of the Year finalist Cooper Anderton is one of many running and walking enthusiasts to have already started their preparations, with the 16-year-old eyeing off the win in the 5km walking event.
