Every bite helps a cause
Pat Usher Foreshore will become Bunbury’s biggest dining room on Sunday during the Chefs’ Long Table Lunch.
About 500 diners are expected to converge under the marquee for the 14th staging of the annual lunch, which will again benefit South West charities.
Fourteen of the region’s top chefs will donate their time to prepare dishes for the eight-course banquet that will form the afternoon’s focal point.
A number of wineries have also donated their products for guests to enjoy throughout the afternoon, while beer and soft drinks will also be on offer.
The lunch has raised about $850,000 during its lifetime, which is donated to different beneficiaries every year.
Make-A-Wish Foundation, Sail Into Life and Royal Flying Doctor Service will be helped this year.
Limited tickets to the lunch, which begins at 12pm, are still available. Tickets include all food, drinks and entertainment and can be bought from www.chefslongtable.com.
