Fatal crash near Collie kills 30-year-old

South Western Times

A 30-year-old man has died after the car he was driving south-west of Collie last night veered off the road into an embankment.

The blue Holden Commodore rolled several times after hitting the embankment just before 11pm while driving in a south-westerly direction on Mungalup Road 1km past the Kelly Road turnoff.

The man died at the scene and his 18-year-old female passenger was taken to Collie Hospital with minor injuries before being released.

Major Crash investigators would like to speak with anyone who saw the crash, or the Commodore prior to the crash.

Anyone with information relating to the incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
