Fest a finalist

CinefestOZ has been named a finalist in the 2018 Perth Airport Western Australian Tourism Awards in the “Festivals and Events” category.

The film festival is in the running for the award against the 2018 Caravan and Camping Show, Brew & The Moo and Shinju Matsuri.

This year’s festival delivered more than 150 screenings and events, including 11 World Premieres, 18 Australian Premieres and 33 WA Premieres.

Guests to the festival included Patrons David Wenham and Myles Pollard and actors Emma Booth, John Howard and Lucy Durack.

The winner will be announced on November 10.
