Five injured in serious crash

A 12-year-old girl was airlifted to Perth Children’s Hospital with serious head injuries when a car she was in collided head-on with another near Capel on Saturday.
After 8.30am a 50-year-old woman was driving a blue Kia Rio, carrying the 12-year-old girl and another 13-year-old girl, east on Ludlow Road.
The car collided with a white Toyota Hilux travelling west at the intersection of Peppermint Grove Road.
The 50-year-old and 13-year-old were conveyed by ambulance to Bunbury Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The occupants of the Kia Rio are visiting Australian from the US.
A 57-year-old male driver of the Toyota Hilux and a 55-year-old male passenger, both from Busselton, received minor injuries.
