While the past three months have been challenging, there was cause for celebration last week when a number of Forrest Personnel Bunbury participants were awarded for their achievements during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The not-for-profit specialist recruitment agency — which helps people with injuries or disabilities get jobs — recently held an award ceremony for those who had found and kept jobs during the trying time.
“We’re really proud of the people we support and also appreciate the genuine interest and commitment of the many employers we work with,” chief executive Anna Bagshaw said.
“It’s too easy just to listen to negative statistics. We love to share stories of energy and resilience.”
“Although a challenging period for many, at Forrest Personnel we’ve seen some real success stories. We’ve been fortunate that we were able to come together recently to help celebrate the commitment of some of our local people.”
Employers — including the City of Bunbury — attended to recognise their hard work across numerous areas including cleaning, aged care and maintenance.
