Free hearing checks when bus visits region

South Western Times

Residents will be able to get free hearing checks for anyone over 18 next week when the Australian Hearing bus visits the region.

The bus will arrive today at the Australind and Districts Senior Citizens Club before heading to Amana Living in Treendale.

On Tuesday it will be at the Spud Shed in Australind, while on Wednesday it will be at Paisley Square.

The bus will then finish its round on Thursday at the Police and Citizens Youth Club in Collie.

Australian Hearing Bunbury manager Blanche Coyle said because age-related hearing loss developed gradually, it was common for people to be unaware their hearing was diminishing.

No appointment is necessary to attend.
