The curtains will draw tomorrow night for the opening of the Bunbury Fringe Festival.

A stellar line up of acts is set to impress including Damien Warren-Smith who will take to the stage to perform his theatre-packed show Garry Starr Performs Everything.

Mr Warren-Smith said by performing every single genre of theatre in under an hour he hoped to reignite people’s passion for the performing arts and save it from extinction.

“It’s a really silly and fun show and although it is talking about a lot of theatre and different genres of theatre, there is no required knowledge of theatre,” he said.

“People can come in quite blind and still have a really good time.”

Mr Warren-Smith said he really enjoyed venturing out of the city and the relaxed nature Bunbury had to offer.

“For me I love getting out of the big city and exploring regional areas, but also it is a really beautiful part of the world and I love the laid back lifestyle,” he said.

Garry Starr Performs Everything will also be a part of the new Fringe Binge component which organiser Jo O’Dea said was the perfect way to save money and to get the most out of your Fringe experience.
