The 2023 Furphy Bunbury Pacing Cup lived up to its hype on Saturday at Donaldson Park, with South West participants as always giving a good account of themselves.

Prior to the feature, punters flocked to the members’ lounge for refreshments, with warm humour and conversation prominent at every turn.

Greenbushes-based Lavra Joe claimed the cup ahead of favourite Magnificent Storm, while North Boyanup’s Mighty Ronaldo ran third.

Justin Fris was on hand to cover all of the action on and off the track, as the Bunbury Trotting Club continues to celebrate its 100th anniversary.
