Talented boxers Charlotte Haskayne and Liam Pascoe have been catching the eye due to their efforts in the ring.

Charlotte, 15, is fresh from a second round TKO victory in Perth – where she managed to dominate her older and taller opponent.

Liam,12, also shone in a recent Perth-based bout where he won on points at the end of the third round.

Charlotte’s ability has been already been noticed in the Eastern States, where she has been selected for Boxing Australia’s futures development squad, along with the opportunity to attend an AIS futures camp – where she can further enhance her talent.

“It was very special moment,” she said when notified about the selections.

“I’ll be training over the next few weeks and hopefully I will get another fight.”

Outside of boxing, Charlotte enjoys socialising with her friends along with keeping active through health and fitness at school.

Liam, who also trains out of the Denning Boxing and Fitness Gym in South Bunbury, is a points-based fighter who prides himself on intensity.

“I like to gradually pick up the pace as you go through the rounds,” he said.

Both fighters are keen to fine tune their abilities and see where careers will take them.
