The Perth Glory women’s team was officially welcomed with a civic reception at the Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre on Thursday evening.

The function kicked off a number of public appearances and soccer clinics held across the South West before the team’s Round 12 clash against Canberra United at Hay Park on Saturday.

Mayor Gary Brennan presented Perth Glory chief executive officer Peter Filopoulos with a framed photograph of Bunbury as a momento of the landmark visit.
