History was created at the 72nd Hayward Medal count at the Quality Lighthouse Hotel last Friday night.
Collie Eagles midfielder Travis Cleggett was awarded the Hayward Medal, while for the first time the Nola Marino Medal was presented, with Bunbury captain-coach Trish Lake taking top honours as well as the competition’s leading goalkicker award.
A number of players, former medallists and football officials from across WA attended the event.
