Roundabout landscaping, new trees, an entry statement and more footpaths are focus points in a new plan for one of Bunbury’s suburbs.

Bunbury City Council yesterday unveiled its Glen Iris Action Plan following a street meet and an online engagement portal.

The council says it has used residents’ aspirations and feedback to the form the plan, which will see improvements across the suburb.

It also includes initiatives and activities relating to beautification, bushland management, community connection, littering and dumping and traffic management.

Each focus point has an action and a timeframe for completion.

Deputy Mayor Jaysen Miguel said the council was focused on revitalising Glen Iris and the plan was the first step in improving the suburb.
