Grant provides wheels for expansion
Bunbury drug support group Doors Wide Open has received $27,228 of Lotterywest funding to purchase a car and trailer.
Bunbury MLA Don Punch, who presented the money, said it will allow the group to expand its services.
“Door Wide Open are such a proactive organisation,” he said.
“As well as supporting families and people experiencing addiction they get involved with community events, run education programs in schools and conduct work experience programs, so having a vehicle is vital to enabling all these services.
