Grants awarded to five groups

Five minor beneficiaries of the 2018 Chefs’ Long Table Lunch were awarded up to $2000 last week at the Bunbury Senior Citizens Centre.

The new category of minor grants aims to help small groups requiring just a few items of equipment to enhance their activities.

Level three grants of up to $1000 were presented to the Dalyellup Seasons Shed to buy materials needed for their toy making community donations and the Leschenault Scout Group for the purchase of a projector and screen to help with training programs.

Level two grants of up to $2000 dollars were awarded to the South West Sports Academy for a blue chip timing system, the South West Women’s Health and Information Centre for gift baskets and support to parents experiencing a still birth and the 2nd Bunbury Sea Scouts for new safety equipment.
