Basketball South West has appointed Nathan Grover as the women’s Printsync South West Slammers head coach for 2019.

Grover, who worked alongside outgoing head coach Peter Harper for two seasons as an assistant, is excited about the challenge.

“I am very honoured and privileged to be appointed as head coach,” he said.

“Having been with the group for two years now, we have a great bunch of youngsters coming through the club and it is really exciting to be able to lead them through the program in the years to come.

“The group has shown some great improvement under Peter Harper over the last two years and we will continue to work hard to move forward with the aim of making the finals in 2019.

“My family and I are proud to be part of such a great club and are looking forward to continuing to build a solid foundation in the South West in the years to come.”

Grover’s assistant coach next season will be Darren Austin.
