Harmony Week Celebrations at Hudson Road Family Centre

As Harmony Week came to a close, Bunbury residents came together to celebrate the cultural diversity of the region. Hudson Road Family Centre and Bunbury Multicultural Group hosted the Find Your Village Harmony Week event for the Bunbury community on Friday. Organisers said the event was a success with stallholders and a selection of performers including a Filipino dance troupe, Spanish dancing, and food from different cultures bringing people together. Hudson Family Centre’s development manager Jennifer Monaghan said the event was important for the multicultural community. “They sometimes come here with no-one and have to create their own family,” she said. Organisations such as Helping Minds and Legal Aid gathered to serve Bunbury residents and connect them to assistance to find their village.
