Talented Mt Lawley Golf Club junior golfer Ruby Fry is unlikely to forget her recent trip to the Bunbury Golf Club anytime soon.

Competing in the 2019 Bunbury Junior Open Boys and Girls championship on January 4, Fry approached the 10th hole and coolly slotted a hole-in-one with her eight iron.

Incredibly, it was also her first hole of the tournament, due to the shortened format of the competition she participated in.

“I hit my eight iron off the tee and it landed about three inches from the hole,” the 13-year-old said. “From there it bounced in.”

It is the second hole-in-one of Ruby’s career, having secured her first at Mt Lawley back in November, 2017.
