Jets duo get call for Fever academy

Souwest Jets duo Jessica Repacholi and Alkira Rodney have been rewarded for outstanding WA Netball League seasons by being named in the inaugural West Coast Fever Academy.
The pair were selected among nine other players for the squad, which also receives West Australian Institute of Sport (WAIS) scholarships.
Both Rodney and Repacholi represented the Jets as well as the State.
Repacholi completed her season in grand fashion, winning the Most Valuable Player award for Harvey-Brunswick-Leschenault in the South West Netball-Football League grand final.

West Coast Fever executive officer Tamara Sheppard said the Academy would align with the State team and Australian Netball League programs.
“The program aims to provide a holistic approach to the athletes in a high performance environment and opportunity for player development,” Sheppard said.
