Western Australia’s sprintcar season comes to an end when a bumper field hits the Perth Motorplex on Saturday night.

Krikke Motorsport and Jamie Veal will return to the team’s home State for a final run, while the Maiolo brothers Jamie and Brad will look for wins in the Powerpalooza Grand Final.

Western Australia has been a happy hunting ground for Veal and the team with four sprintcar feature race wins in the 2017-18 season.

Krikke Motorsport team manager Ryan Krikke said the team had a good package for the WA tracks.

“We have been lucky enough to have the cards dealt the right way in WA,” he said.

The LJM racing team will be looking to bounce back from a disappointing year, with Brad Maiolo unable to claim a hat-trick of AHG Sprintcar Series titles thanks to an excellent performance from Perth’s Jason Kendrick.

Jamie Maiolo finished the series in fourth, despite being plagued with mechanical issues early in the season.

The Myalup pair each claimed one event win for the series and will be looking to finish the season on a bright note.
