A Perth-based design and construction company has won the contract for the new lithium hydroxide production plant in Kemerton.
Kerman Contracting won the contract to design and construct a series of buildings and workshops for US-based company Albemarle’s new lithium production plant in Kemerton.
The contract includes designing and constructing a spodumene storage building, the acidified ore handling buildings and the tailings buildings, as well as a series of workshops for the new plant.
The company has completed projects at Talison Lithium’s chemical grade plant in Greenbushes and the Tianqi Lithium hydroxide processing plant in Kwinana.
