Long table cooks up exciting auction list
This year’s Chefs’ Long Table Lunch will be bolstered by one of the strongest and most varied auction line-ups to date.
Auctioneer Chris Waddingham will return for his 10th year as auction master and is set to slam the hammer on more than 80 items.
“Some headline items would be six-night accommodation in Mauritius with flights, six nights accommodation in a villa in Vietnam with flights as well, an art piece from Kerry Trantham made out of the old jetty pylons, a five-night fishing package at Mackerel Islands with two charter boat days and the Danny Green signed boxing gloves,” event vice-chairwoman Ellen House said.
“We have everything in the auctions, from $100 vouchers right through to holidays and villas in France... we have something for everybody regardless of budget.”
A mixture of silent, live and quick auctions will be run throughout the day.
The headline items are set to be sold off in the live auctions while the silent auctions will close at 4pm.
