Man dies on ship at Bunbury port

Bunbury police and WorkSafe are preparing a coroner’s report following the death of a Chinese national on board a ship on Saturday night.

Police were called to Bunbury Port about 6pm when it appears the man had died from an electrocution.

The Efficiency Ol was docked at berth five at the time of the incident.

WorkSafe also attended.

The man’s family and the Chinese Embassy have been advised and a report will be prepared.
