Marist challenge Wests

Minor premiers Wests will prepare to claim another men’s South West Hockey League Championship when they take on Marist in the second semi-final at the Busselton Hockey Stadium tomorrow.

Boyanup and Associates will play for their seasons when they battle in the first semi-final at the Bunbury Hockey Stadium in what is expected to be one of the games of the weekend.

In the women’s competition, Collie will battle Robins for a place in the grand final when they clash in the second semi-final in Collie, while Boyanup and Marist will lay it all on the line in their first semi-final.

Meanwhile, the South West Strikers women’s team will take on YMCC this Sunday at the Perth Hockey Stadium in the Hockey WA Promotion One semi-final, with the winner to advance to play in the preliminary final against Southern River.
