Massey elected deputy mayor

Newly elected Donnybrook-Balingup shire councillor Jackie Massey has accepted extra responsibilities after she was elected as the deputy shire president.

Former deputy president Leanne Wringe decided not to continue her role and nominated the Balingup resident for the position.

She took up the position unopposed.

Councillor Brian Piesse was re-elected as shire president.
