MNA: Independents beats Brace Yourself by 20 points

Independents had a successful showing against Brace Yourself in Monday night’s Manjimup Netball Association action, winning 50-30. An even second quarter saw Brace Yourself begin to give themselves a foothold in the game but they were not able to cut into the deficit, with Independents taking a 12-goal advantage into the main break. Independents gained momentum in the third term, extending their lead on the back of fast-paced teamwork and a strong offence, but Brace Yourself did well to use their limited offensive opportunities to come up with some goals. Both teams had their moments in the final quarter but Independents had done enough to secure a 20-point victory. In the other matches, Champs won over Sirens 58-27, Comets defeated Saints 51-35 and Astrix beat Magpies 45-41.
