Nail salon gutted by fire

A Bunbury nail salon has been gutted by a fire that is alleged to have occurred early on Anzac Day morning.

Passers-by have been left shocked by the blackened interior of Harmony Nails & Beauty Studio which suffered extensive damage in the blaze at Bunbury Plaza Shopping Centre on Spencer Street.

No other stores within the shopping centre was damaged.

It was understood the fire was reported early on Sunday morning but had self-extinguished by the time the Bunbury Fire Brigade had arrived.

The site had since been secured for the remainder of the day and the business owners had been contacted.

An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the blaze.
