Thousands of visitors are expected to flock to the South West over the coming weeks for their chance to explore an explosion of colour and creativity as the Nannup Flower and Garden Festival reaches full bloom.

Spanning three weeks and four weekends, this year’s festival kicks off on Saturday and boasts a packed schedule of activities including open gardens and studios, market stalls, celebrity tours and extended food events.

A record 20000 tulips have been planted for the annual festival, which draws flower lovers and tourists eager to immerse themselves in colourful floral displays and workshops to the small town.

Gardening Australia host Costa Georgiadis will be unable to join festivities at this year’s festival due to COVID-19, but a raft of talented local presenters such as Millie Ross, Steve Wood and Dr Bob Longmore will fill the program.

“Oh Nannup, I will miss not getting my fix of your amazing district and friendly faces,” Mr Georgiadis shared on Facebook.

“Spread the word everyone and get down to the Nannup Flower and Garden Festival sometime during the month to support local and everything that means to our regional communities, businesses and of course families.”
