New bus service for Eaton shopping

A six-week community consultation process undertaken by Dardanup Shire Council last year has yielded results after feedback revealed interest in a rural bus service to Eaton.

A three-month trial for a Tuesday and Saturday public bus service to Eaton is now planned to start on April 1 for residents in Dardanup and Burekup.

The project will cost $13,000 and provide passengers with a morning arrival in the Eaton CBD and an afternoon return.
