Non-for-profit health service GP Down South appoints Krystal Laurentsch as new chief executive officer

A South West non-for-profit health service has welcomed a new chief executive to its ranks. Krystal Laurentsch has been appointed to the top job at GP Down South, bringing experience in primary health and aged care. She has previously served as the chief executive of Belong at Home, Capecare and Global Care Group. Ms Laurentsch said she was proud to be joining the organisation, which was founded in 1994. “Together, we will build on this strong foundation, capitalise on new opportunities, and chart a path of sustained success for South West and Peel health and wellness services,” she said. A South West resident, Ms Laurentsch is a registered nurse with several postgraduate qualifications, including a Masters of Public Health. Chair David Barton said the organisation was excited to welcome her to the team. “She brings substantial experience in leading organisations to adapt in a changing healthcare environment,” he said.
