Sean Pollard’s hopes of making the 2018 Winter Paralympics have received a major boost thanks to staff at the Bunbury Trotting Club and Community TAB.
At the club’s annual New Year’s Eve Cup Night, a fundraising sausage sizzle and raffles will be held for Pollard, with Community TAB to match the money raised up to $2000.
Pollard announced he would be vying for a snowboarding place at the 2018 Winter Paralympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea, more than two years after he lost both arms in a shark attack while surfing at Esperance.
Bunbury Trotting Club general manager Julie Caldwell said the Community TAB program with WA race clubs was a fantastic initiative.
