From our award-winning culinary establishments, to our ever-growing wine region and the upcoming hosting of national events – the South West is arguably in one of its most exciting times.

In the past seven days alone, a number of restaurants and bars have won prestigious State awards, meaning there is no shortage of options for a night out or a simple bite to eat.

The start of the rejuvenation of Collie through the Supertowns project has also been recognised as elite, beating the highly publicised Elizabeth Quay in the From Plan to Place category of the Planning Institute of Australia’s annual awards ceremony.

Then there is the announcements of events that will keep families entertained for the next six months.

Sporting fans will benefit the most from this, with the Australian Beach Games, Nitro Circus World Tour, Australian National BMX Championships and a W-League game just some of the big events scheduled.

Combine this with our beautiful beaches, stunning flora and fauna and the relaxed lifestyle on offer and the South West is seemingly the hot place to be.
