Bunbury police are investigating whether a burglary at JB Hi-Fi Bunbury Home Superstore overnight is linked with another theft in Busselton an hour earlier.

Officer-in-charge Sen. Sgt Mal Jones said thieves smashed their way into the Bunbury Homemaker Centre store about 11.45pm yesterday, stealing several iPhones and iPads.

Sen. Sgt Jones said the number of items stolen was still being calculated and police were looking at closed-circuit TV footage and a forensic analysis was under way.

He said police were also looking into whether the theft was linked to a similar incident at a computer shop in West Busselton and a car found burnt out at the Bunbury Cemetery.

Busselton police are investigating the earlier incident which happened about 10.40pm when a car was used to break through a front roller shutter door causing extensive damage.

Thieves stole phones and computer accessories during the brazen burglary.

Sen. Sgt Jones said a vehicle was found burnt out in the cemetery early this morning.

Anyone with information can contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
