Bunbury children bursting with festive spirit were treated to an early Christmas present when they joined Santa for breakfast at Dome Bunbury Forum.

Two breakfasts on both Saturday and Sunday for the past two weekends were completely sold out, with each session hosting more than 25 young Christmas fans.

Bellowing Santa Claus is Coming to Town, Santa made a grand entrance to the event much to the delight of his guests.

“It’s great, they were all looking to me and when I’m handing out their presents, they’re all like ‘me next, me next’,” he said.

Santa went on to explain that although he wished he could indulge in the pancakes his table guests enjoyed, keeping his beard clean and tidy can be problematic, hence he stuck with a few glasses of juice.

“It was really fun and really exciting,” nine-year-old Anthony Stirlingnorth said.

“I didn’t really get it when Mum and Dad told me, but I was really excited about who it was going to be with.”

Bunbury Forum marketing manager Ashley Hastie said the response was phenomenal, with the event being sold out within four hours of its launch.
