Path closed reminder

The footpath between Hastie and Mangles streets in Bunbury remains closed to pedestrians as improvements to Ocean Drive continue.

Bunbury City Council is reminding residents of the closure due to the deep excavation taking place.

The upgrade work includes widening of Ocean Drive by 2.5m with a new 2.5m footpath alongside it.

The project has been jointly funded by the State Government and the council.

New lighting will also form part of the improvements to the popular coastal route as well as upgrades to the Hastie Street car park and new toilet block replacing the old facilities.

Works are expected to be completed in time for summer.
