Photography awards a snap

Capturing faces and places around the South West has recently earned South Western Times photographer Jon Gellweiler recognition as a finalist in the 2017 WA Media Awards.

Gellweiler’s images were under the category Body of Work in the Community and Regional News division and included three photographs of some of the region most colourful characters.

Winners will be announced in Perth on October 28.
