Podium spot for SW team

It was a productive trip to Victoria for Krikke Motorsport, which finished third overall at the 2019 South West Conveyancing Grand Annual Sprintcar Classic in Warnambool last weekend.

Piloted by Kerry Madsen, KMS finished at the business end of the points table following his third-placed effort in Sunday’s feature race.

Starting from 10th on the grid, Madsen wove his way through traffic and finished on the podium.

KMS team principal Ryan Krikke said it was pleasing to secure a podium position considering the pre-race placement.

“We naturally went there with the ambition to win,” he said.

“But considering we started from so far back in position 10, it was nice to finish third and salvage something.”
