Police dog Geoffrey signs off from duty
One of the South West’s most popular police recruits has sadly died.
Police Dog Geoffrey was set to be farewelled by his colleagues in a guard of honour today, but died peacefully on Saturday.
Under the guidance of his handler Sen. Const. Jake Carruthers, PD Geoffrey performed 122 successful deployments resulting in apprehensions – with 32 bites.
