Police lay over 100 charges after large scale operation
Bunbury police have laid more than 100 charges following a “large scale” operation prompted by several alleged break-ins across the South West.
The operation resulted in five offenders being charged with numerous offences including burglary, stealing, stealing motor vehicles, damage and trespass.
Among the businesses allegedly hit in the crime spree was Marge’s Place Lunch Bar in Picton, Sports Power in East Bunbury and Eaton Fair Shopping Centre, Bunbury Nissan and the Wokalup Tavern.
A total of 101 charges have been laid by police who thanked the community for information provided.
