Police release name of crash victim

Police have released the name of the woman who was killed in a head-on crash on Forrest Highway on Saturday night.

Jordana Kostovski, 28, of Baldivis, died at the scene when she drove her Ford Econovan into another car after 7.30pm.

Another driver suffered minor injuries.

Police said Kostovski had rammed police twice and failed to stop and drove erratically around Treendale before heading north in the south-bound lanes on the highway.

Major Crash Investigators are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash, while Internal Affairs Unit detectives are also looking into the circumstances surrounding the crash given the earlier attempt to intercept the vehicle.
